Our Talent Acquisition (TA) team at Pulselive are integral to ensuring we are working with Talent who are the best of the best, to produce high quality products and remain competitive within the industry. This months Podcast episode focuses on our Talent Acquisition team, where we speak with Nick Jacks, Head of Talent Acquisition, about what it’s like working in Talent in the sports tech industry, and how recruitment at Pulselive has changed over the last year.

Talent Acquisition at Pulselive is not only about bringing in top quality talent from all over the world, but we also partner heavily with leadership to implement best practices and technologies for TA, to enable us to add value to the business and to be successful in everything we deliver.

2021 has seen a massive change in the way we recruit at Pulselive. We have implemented a variety of new technologies and systems to make the hiring process efficient, engaging and fun for both our internal hiring teams and candidates. These include virtual one way video introductions (MyInterview), Unbiased compatibility testing (Bryq) and developer testing software (Codility). We have also introduced a new Applicant Tracking System (Pinpoint) which allows us to communicate more efficiently with candidates, and has sped up our time to hire which has allowed us to bring in a significantly high volume of new employees over the year.

We work very closely with our unstoppable Marketing team, and we are heavily involved in employer brand development and getting Pulselive’s name out there into the world. This podcast is a great example of how driven we are in ensuring prospective candidates get a deeper insight into what life is like at Pulselive, and showcasing the work of our amazing teams.

Working in Talent Acquisition in the Sports Tech industry is fast paced, but very exciting and enjoyable as we have a huge impact in how the company is able to grow and develop new products. Recruiting during a pandemic was always going to be hard, but our Talent Acquisition Team has worked continuously to ensure we’re still bringing on board incredible people, and Pulselive are now busier than ever!
