Korea University Blockchain Academy ‘Blockchain Valley’ joins Function X as Validator
Function X Foundation is pleased to announce that we have joined forces with Blockchain Valley, a university student DAO at Korea University, in pursuit of research and with the goal of becoming a prominent member of the blockchain community in Korea.
Blockchain Valley was founded in 2022 and has organized events with blockchain academies from universities around Korea University.
In addition, they have accumulated various experiences such as participating in sessions organized by other conferences and participating in Korea Blockchain Week (KBW).
The company has been fostering excellent talents in the blockchain field, including participating in the DreamPlus Blockchain Hackathon and winning the ‘Ahnlab Blockchain Company Award’.
The Korea Blockchain Academy Conference (KOBAC), organized by Blockchain Valley and main sponsored by Korean blockchain companies such as Hashed, Xangle, Ludium, and INF Crypto Lab, brought together more than 10 blockchain academies to introduce the products they have created over the past year.
In addition, the development team participated in many domestic and international hackathons over the past semester, winning 8 awards.
Blockchain Valley
Blockchain Valley started recruiting its first class of members in Feb 2022, successfully completed all the activities of the previous 4 classes, and is currently recruiting its 5th class of members to continue its activities. With the remarkable activities of our development and research teams, we are further solidifying our position in the blockchain industry and leading the way for mass adoption of blockchain.
The annual KOBAC event has become the annual flagship event for blockchain societies across the country, including Blockchain Valley, to share their research and insights. Blockchain Valley’s journey is just beginning, and we look forward to contributing to the blockchain ecosystem in a variety of roles.
