In the upcoming f(x)Wallet 4.0.0 version, we have integrated The Open Network (TON), also known as Telegram’s integration blockchain and choice for its Web3 ecosystem.
The Open Network (TON) is a decentralized, open-source internet platform made up of several components. The TON blockchain uses a proof-of-stake consensus algorithm, where validators are responsible for verifying transactions and creating new blocks, and are chosen based on the amount of TON they hold and are willing to stake. This method supports a high transaction throughput while being energy-efficient.
TON is capable of widespread cross-chain interoperability while operating in a high throughput, highly scalable, and secure framework designed to process millions of transactions per second (TPS). The goal is to eventually allow 500 million users to own their own digital assets and identity by 2028.
By integrating TON Blockchain, f(x)Wallet will be able to interact with Telegram’s massive mobile user base.
