Monthly Report: A recap of activities in August 2019
Dear Pundians,
Time flies when we concentrate on building. In that case, August was definitely a whirlwind for Pundi X. We enjoy building and working with our partners and community members around the world to make crypto accessible to more people. We’ve revealed the new design of our XPASS Card, made our presence in key conferences, and expanded our global footprint even more.
We are inching closer to our goals, thanks to you, our supporters and thanks also to our partners and friends in fintech. We couldn’t be more grateful for this community.

Product Development
Stable coin DAI by Maker Dao is available on Pundi X Platform
Maker Dao is the builder of Dai, the first fully-decentralized stable coin on Ethereum. On August 7, Pundi X and Maker Dao announced the partnership of subsidization of cards and XPOS for merchants.
We have also been building on established relations with colleagues in Latin America, especially merchants in four countries in the region, namely Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, and Venezuela.
New XPass Card
On August 15, we gave a sneak peek of our next version of the standard XPASS card design. This sleek and all-new XPASS Card, which is now for mass production. To place an order, you may visit: http://bit.ly/31LdkwB.
XWallet has integrated Binance Chain
Starting from August 16, our new version of XWallet integrate Binance Chain Wallet, which you can create new wallet or import an existing Binance Chain Wallet as well as connecting to Binance DEX to trade. The user fully owns the private key when creating a Binance Chain Wallet. Our friendly reminder is to always keep you private key in a safe place, as XWallet will not be able to restore the account for you if you lose or forget it.

Design of Blok on Blok (BOB) powered by Function X revealed
As our XPhone prototype has gone through many improvements since it was introduced last October. We’ve taken feedback from the various events where we showcased and demonstrated the prototype. Changes were made to the design, adding new features and making it funky and giving the users to have the flexibility to build.

Merchant Adoption and Partnership
TRAKI in Venezuela
TRAKI, the largest chain of department stores in Venezuela, will implemented the XPOS across its 49 stores around the country, starting from Aug 20. As of today, 11 of 49 stores has implemented XPOS devices. TRAKI customers will able to pay with BTC, ETH, BNB, DAI, DGX, XEM, KCS, KNC, NPXS, NPXSXEM and more via XPOS.
Pundi X Chainzilla
On 14 August, Pundi X welcomed Chainzilla into its growing family. Chainzilla is now the official XPOS distributor and fiat liquidity provider in Panama. Together with our other partners in the region, Chainzilla will help lead the way in cryptocurrency point-of-sale adoption and regulation in Latin America.
Bitcoin Malaysia add XWallet as payment option
Pundi X is featured in Bitcoin Malaysia’s 2019/2020 playing cards collection. We are grateful to have Bitcoin Malaysia implemented XWallet’s QR code collection feature as one of its payment methods. It is a preliminary feature for e-commerce at this moment but we are able to collect feedback for our upcoming improvements.

Japan’s first XPOS payment at Comic Market 96
On August 12, Pundi X has made the first XPOS crypto transactions at Comic Market 96, the world’s largest comic on-the-spot sale event, attended by around 730,000 visitors.
As many of you may know, Japan has established strict requirements for crypto businesses. That is why we also set up a legal entity in Japan to conduct regular reporting to FAS to ensure better compliance. We’ve been working closely with the Financial Services Agency (FAS) and has been complying with regulations.

Mobile Payment Conference
Pundi X CEO and Co-Founder Zach Cheah attended Mobile Payment Conference held on August 27 in Chicago, Illinois. Zac has shared his insights in the panel on the topic “Payment Revolution: Will Blockchain Network Replace Legacy Payment Platforms?”
XPOS distributor Bit2Big spoke at Blockchance 2019 in Hamburg
Bit2Big CEO gave a speech about the blockchain developments in Africa in Blockchance 2019 in Hamburg as well as training in Uganda.
Moderate and join the panel discussions in the events organized by Monetary Authority of Singapore
Pundi X Chief Investment Officer Vic Tham went to Bangkok for event organized by Monetary Authority of Singapore a discussion. He moderated the panel entitled ‘Blockchain Developments in Thailand’, which was attended by the Thai Fintech Association and the Thai Securities and Exchange Commission.
Vic also joined another panel not as moderator, but as a panelist this time. Singapore Fintech Association, the Institute of Banking and Finance, Monetary Authority of Singapore and PwC jointly launched Fintech talent survey and organized the panel to discuss the talent issues of the Fintech industry.
Blockmaster Conference in Brazil
On Aug 28 and 29, Pundi X Brazil team presented in Blockmaster Brazil event and participants are able to top up the cryptos
CryptoGift Drop Events
As a way to say thanks to all of you, we organized the CryptoGift Drop on 16–17 August. 10 lucky winners were chosen to receive additional crypto gifts of up to 500K NPXS in total.
Listings
NPSXSEM listed on Binance DEX
On August 20, NPXSXEM got listed on Binance DEX. We are grateful for your support and received an overwhelming 3.5K upvotes on the Binance Community Forum.
To celebrate the listing, we are organizing a trading competition and will give away a total of 50 million NPXSXEM to top 15 traders. For details, you can read more here.
