Monthly report: a recap of activities in January 2021
Dear Pundians,
Welcome to the first issue of 2021 Pundi X Insider, our monthly report. With 2021 finally here, we’ve aimed to hit the ground running and set the tone for the rest of the year. After overcoming the challenges of 2020, it’s only right to look forward to the new opportunities that are surely just waiting around the corner.
In our review of January below, we’ll go over the progress we’ve registered in the early days of the new year. For the most part, we were able to build on the momentum initiated in the latter half of 2020 while making headway into new ventures.
PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
Merchant portal updates
- Fixed some known bugs
- Data transmission over the merchant portal will now be more secure, with encryption applied
XWallet updates
- Bugs were tracked down and fixed
- In line with the regulations and better user experience, KYC optimization is performed.
Function X Blockchain
- Added cross-chain feature to FX Cloud Beta 3.0 and released for closed public testing
- Released f(X) Wallet Android version for closed public testing

For January, we’ve seen a continuation of the activity we’ve started in Japan and Ghana back in 2020.
