Pundi X at CES 2019
Dear Pundians,
Happy 2019! We are excited to announce that we’ll be kicking off the new year in Las Vegas at the world’s biggest tech show: the Consumer Electronics Show 2019.
For the past 50 years, CES has long been regarded as the platform to showcase cutting edge technologies and innovations from around the world which consumers will use in coming years. At Pundi X, we strive to make blockchain tech accessible to improve people’s everyday lives. CES is the perfect place for us to showcase our blockchain tech via the XPOS, XPASS card, XWallet app, and the XPhone Prototype as examples of how blockchain is already changing the ways in which we spend, share and communicate.
We are also thrilled to use CES to make a new announcement on our latest product, the XWallet app, which we officially launched late last year, after undergoing a period of beta testing. The XWallet — which is complementary to the XPASS card and/or can be used independently of it— is a critical addition to our Pundi X ecosystem. It gives consumers complete control over the digital assets at their fingertips and allows them to make cardless/cashless digital asset transactions at their favorite retail stores. Now it becomes more powerful!
New features added in the next version of XWallet
At CES, we will announce additional features of the XWallet which will make it an even more powerful tool for our users. This new version of the XWallet app is set to launch next week on Google Play Store.
Collection feature allows merchants to accept crypto payment directly on their phones
In the upcoming new version, we add “Collection” for merchants to accept payment through the XWallet. The customers can simply scan the QR-code provided by the merchants and complete the payment.
This is another way for the merchants to use Pundi X technology to easily accept crypto payment.
To activate this feature, the merchants will be asked to submit an XWallet Merchant application. Once the application gets approved, the “Collect” page would be marked with “Pundi X verified merchant”
The merchant can open the XWallet app, then show the QR code on “Collect” page for customers to scan and pay or simply tap “Save” on “Collect” page to download the QR code as a picture, print it out, and place it by the check stand for customers to scan and pay.
Payment would go directly to the XWallet Merchant’s Virtual Card account.
Loyalty program
We believe the feature which will generate the greatest interest to our users is the new loyalty scheme that provides incentives to increase usage of the app. The more tasks the users complete in the app, the more tokens they will be rewarded.
Specifics of the loyalty reward program for the XWallet will be released inside the app. Please watch this space for further updates on how with the XWallet, we will be able to use blockchain to revolutionize rewards programs entirely by giving consumers a fair share of what they put in.

Pundi X in CES: Unveiled on Jan 6
We will be at the CES: Unveiled event at 5:00 pm–8:30 pm PST on January 6, Sunday at the Shorelines Exhibit Hall, Mandalay Bay. CES Unveiled Las Vegas is the official media event of CES with more than 1,500 influential media from around the world. This event will feature the CES 2019 Best of Innovation Awards Honorees and tabletop displays from more than 180 global tech companies. Pundi X Team will participate as one of the tabletop display exhibitors to demonstrate all of our X-family products: XPOS, XPASS, XWallet and XPhone Prototype.
Pundi X in TechCrunch CES meetup on Jan 9
We will also be at the TechCrunch event during CES as one of the 10 companies selected for the pitch-off to share our hardware. This event will be held at Work In Progress, 317 South 6th Street on January 9, Wednesday between 6:00 PM — 9:00 PM PST.
