Pundi X meetups and conferences for the Week of October 22–28
Dear Pundians,
The pace of our events schedule is not slowing down as the months progress toward the final quarter of 2018. In fact, this is perhaps our busiest week of the year.
We have a total of five events running this week, starting tomorrow and representing Pundi X on three continents.
Korea Blockchain Expo
Bringing together more than 3,000 leaders from government, traditional industry and the world of blockchain, the Korea Blockchain Expo promises to be one of the nation’s most influential forums for shaping the future of blockchain technology.
Pundi X will speak and host a booth at the event on October 23–24 at the Grand Hilton Convention Centre in Seoul.

Blockchains for Sustainable Development (Session, World Investment Forum)
Held in the Palace of Nations building (the forerunner to the modern UN) in Geneva, participants at the World Investment Forum in Geneva, Switzerland will on October 24th be focusing on the role of Blockchains for Sustainable Development, in a session co-organized, co-curated and chaired by Pundi X’s own director of international partnerships, Stephen DeMeulenaere.
There will be addresses from leaders in the world of blockchain including the CEO of Binance, Changpeng Zhao; Vanessa Grellet, Executive Director of ConsenSys Social Impact; Luis de Bruin, Blockchain Lead for IBM Europe and many other high-level NGO, United Nations and Corporate leaders presenting their views on the application of blockchain technologies for social impact and the meeting of UN Sustainable Development Goals.
The next day, on October 25th, a public event will be held in Geneva focused more on Blockchains for Social Impact. Leaders from Binance-initiated Blockchain Charity Foundation, Bancor, ConsenSys and others will be speaking at this Geneva Blockchain Meetup event, which is also co-organized and moderated by Pundi X’s Stephen DeMeulenaere.

Indonesia Digital Economy Summit
The event, to be opened by Indonesian Vice President Jusuf Kalla, brings together 300 industry leaders from across the region to establish a business value proposition for adopting digital innovation, practical technologies and partnerships covering topics such as AI, big data and blockchain. In its third year, Indonesia Digital Economy Summit has established a reputation as Indonesia’s most prominent platform. The conference will runs from October 24–26.
Our CFO and co-founder Danny Lim will address Blockchain for Digitalisation of Business Practice, talking about the ways transitioning to blockchain-based payments systems can change practices for accounting, customer loyalty and membership programs and the collection and calculation of tax.
The time for the keynote speech presentation is at 14:20–14:40 on October 25 at Jakarta International Expo (Grand Ballroom, Level 3).
Stable Coins: collaboration towards mass adoption
Stable.Report’s Stablecoin Trade Event will be held at London’s Reform Club on October 25th. Michael Lawal, Business Development Manager, will address the forum dedicated to canvassing issues relating to the use and adoption of stable coins through the building relationships, sharing information, collaborating, partnering and raising public awareness on the path towards achieving a decentralized economy. Meetup NEM 101
In this meet-up, NEM Brazil will partner with Digital House, the renowned coding school, In partnership with DIGITAL HOUSE, the most renowned Coding School in Brazil, to demystify the technology behind Bitcoin and showcase the applications and use cases of Blockchain technology.
João Víctor Mendes, Country Manager, Brazil will demo Pundi X solution and use case study.
