Q3 2021 Token Removal Report
Dear Pundians,
The token removal for Q3 2021 has been completed. We took out approximately 7,014.901 $PUNDIX and 6,120,221.78 $NPXSXEM tokens from their respective total supplies.
After the Q3 token removal, the total supply of PUNDIX is now 258,477,515 and the total supply of NPXSXEM is 44,748,244,753.68.

With the launch of Pundi X Chain, $PUNDIX is now the native coin on Pundi X Chain. The tokenomics of PUNDIX remains unchanged. PUNDIX coins are NOT mintable. The supply of $PUNDIX is deflationary based on the utilization across Pundi X products and services.
$PUNDIX holders are able to participate in Pundi X Chain governance as delegators and receive $PURSE as block rewards as well as $PUNDIX from a percentage of the network transaction fees. To learn more, you can read the article here.
As previously mentioned, $NPXSXEM token will be fully absorbed into $PURSE, thus sunsetting our support for $NPXSXEM. $PURSE will be used as rewards, gamification (lucky draw / lottery), discount vouchers, redemption for NFTs and other uses. Such rewards are in Pundi X Chain and BEP20.
Please note that $PURSE is not meant for trading or speculation. To mitigate speculation, $PURSE will use the “Burn, Distribution, Liquidity” (BDL) model. For every transfer to a non-whitelisted address, 10% of the transfer will be burned, 5% will go into a redistribution pool to be distributed to all existing $PURSE holders, and 5% will go to the liquidity pool. Later on, the token removal mechanism of $NPXSXEM will follow $PURSE’s BDL model when we start migration of $NPXSXEM to $PURSE.

The team has removed token supply since 2018. As of today, we’ve removed tokens worth over USD$50 million.
Below is our 2021 token removal schedule. The schedule is subjected to change. To follow our compliance policy, we will only announce the token removal after we execute it.
