XPOS is the first blockchain-based point of sales smart device to receive CE certification

We are pleased to announce that XPOS has successfully passed CE (Conformité Européenne) tests and received the certification issued by Timco Engineering — an accredited testing facility for the FCC and IC based in the United States.

This is integral step towards proceeding our commercial shipment in Europe. CE certification verifies that our device is compliant with EU requirements essential for entering European Economic Area markets in areas such as wireless, electromagnetic compatibility, health, safety and environmental protection standards

The certification includes the use of GSM, GPRS, EDGE, WCDMA, HSUPA, HSDPA, FPD-LTE Band (1, 3, 7, 8, 28, 38, 40), Wi-Fi (2.4G and 5G), SRD (5.8G), NFC, and Bluetooth as well as compliance with the safety requirements.

With the CE certification, we are able to help the importers and distributors to make sure that XPOS they place in the market comply with the applicable requirements and scale up the shipment to these markets.
