It’s Our Birthday. We’re Gonna Party Like It’s Our Birthday.

Punkpost made it through year one. We want to thank all of YOU for being a part of it. Whether you sent a mailbag full of love out into the world, hand wrote beautiful cards for others as a Punk Scriptist or gave us much needed feedback, you were a big part of our year. We love having you all in our community. To celebrate the stamps and writers’ bumps, here’s a micro look back at what happened during our first year.

You’re an international bunch. You sent to 72 countries, and wrote in 23 languages, including emoji, of course.

Moms’ and Birthday Boys’ and Girls’ mailboxes runneth over with heartfelt messages from you, penned by one of the 29 writers we worked with in year one.

How much confetti is too much confetti? According to you guys, there is no such thing as too much confetti. You confetti-bombed the crap out of your friends. We sent 219 pounds of the stuff out, which ended up fluttering down to the floor, bed or couch of a loved one.

So thanks to you all for being a part of Punkpost. We love hearing your stories about how your card made someone’s day or seeing photos of confetti bombs and happy recipients. So keep ’em coming.

If you know someone else with a bday coming up, fire up the Punkpost app and send a handwritten card right now or schedule it for a future date. We promise that it will make your friend infinitely happier than a “Happy Birthday” on their Facebook wall.
