It started with a brisket. All of Harry Cohen’s problems always seemed to start with briskets.
Harry turned seventy and celebrated his milestone with a big party surrounded by family and friends. After blowing out a forest of candles, Harry announced to everyone present that he was going to take more time off from work. He was going to make a concerted effort to relax and enjoy life. He was a Chartered Accountant with a large roster of clients. He was going to whittle them down and just service a few. Once November rolled around his plans were to fly down to South Florida and enjoy the winter until the end of March. He was going to finally live ‘’La Vida Loca.’’
A couple of years earlier while visiting his Sister and Brother-In-Law in Hallandale Beach a guy at the pool told him his cousin and his wife were getting a divorce. They wanted to sell their Condo immediately and would do it without an agent. The Condo was located at the prestigious Fairways Del Monaco in Hollywood. Harry took down all the details and set up an appointment to visit. The Condo was on the third floor and Harry fell in love with it.
