Jenny Cohen tried everything in her power to pass her phone over to her husband Philip. He recognized who was on the line and was trying to duck out before having to deal with the situation.

Philip was athletic and was making for the family room on the run, but he had a wife who was a fitness trainer so he couldn’t really gain ground on her. She caught him at the dining room table. ‘’Principal Shell, my husband Philip just walked in. I think it would be better if you discussed Joe with him.’’ Philip was waving his hands up and down but Jenny ignored him and handed over her phone. Joe took the Iphone 15 very reluctantly.

‘’Hi Principal Shell, what’s up?’’ Jenny was watching closely with a smile on her face as Joe’s face got progressively redder. ‘’I appreciate your concerns, but Joe is a great kid. Thanks for telling me about him skipping the assembly but I don’t think detentions is the answer. I’ll speak with him and we can figure out a suitable punishment.’’ Philip rolled his eyes at his wife as he held the phone to his ear. ‘’I know he has a seventy average and you think his potential is much higher and my wife and I appreciate it. Joe will be fine, but you know he has this other passion and as long as he focuses on hockey as his future, we just have to go…
