Alan Savin was, for the first time in ages, on time for his meeting with his Editor. Michelle Linscombe had been cutting promos for a new television series Alan couldn’t wait to see the work she had done.

Alan arrived at Union Station from Oshawa, and since he was early, he started walking along Front Street just putting in time. He remembered seeing a new coffee shop the last time he had been in the area and decided it would be a great place to waste some time.

On his way to getting a Chocolate Frappuccino he saw a huge poster advertising a concert by ABBA. It read ‘’The 50 Year Anniversary Tour.’’ He popped into the St. Lawrence Centre for the Arts and waited patiently as a Chinese woman ordered tickets for a one-woman show. She looked over at Alan and smiled. He reflexively smiled back. She was about five-foot-five and really cute. She was taking out her credit card to pay while constantly glancing over at him. He thought she was about twenty-six; he was sixty-four, so there was a considerable age difference. She didn’t seem to mind.

When she finished, she walked over to him. ‘’Hi, I’m Joyce, which shows are you buying tickets for?’’ Alan was shocked that she was so extroverted. ‘’Uh, I’m uh going to get Abba tickets. I didn’t know they…
