Ben Sheiner was trying to articulate how he felt about Julia Rodriguez to his best friend Howie Ross but he was failing miserably. He had met Julia via JDate and he was delighted at how things were working out.

Ben thought Howie looked bored as he kept talking about his new love. ‘’Julia is forty four which is the perfect age for me. She’s twenty years younger but it doesn’t feel like that. When a woman hits a certain age, chronological means nothing. We have so much in common, and I can’t tell you how beautiful she is. Her pictures don’t do her justice. She’s a gorgeous woman physically and spiritually. She was married for fifteen years and found out her husband was cheating on her. She said she discovered he had a second family in Mexico City and that was it. She had been living with lies.’’ Howie Ross feigned interest. ‘’Dude, I’ve known you your entire life. You are a romantic who wants to love. Unfortunately, you often take things at face value instead of digging deeper and then you end up hurt. Do you remember Barbara Liston?’’
