PRPL + Polytechnic University

Drum roll please….

In case you don’t know, Florida Polytechnic University is an up-and-coming university in Lakeland, Florida. It’s a home to supercomputers, 3D printing, cybersecurity, gaming, robotics and more. In fact, they’re the first university with an entirely digital library. The school is centered around technological innovation, and so are we. So naturally, we kinda dig them.

So, What’s the Sitch?

Since we’re always looking for opportunities to use our office as a learning environment for others, PRPL is embracing the Polytech students with open arms and hard work — no coffee duty included.

For ten weeks, four students will get to pick from a list of product ideas that they will build, test, iterate, and launch by the completion of their internship. The project scope can vary from VR/AR technology to bottom-up app building for internal use.

To save them one hell of a commute, they’ll be working on their brainchild primarily from the Polytech campus. But, we’ll still get to hang out with them in-office one day a week, where they’ll have one-on-one time with a mentor, receive coaching on their progress, and learn to navigate our 9-Stage Process.

The grand finale will include a presentation of their creations. Stick around for the final product in about ten weeks, as we show off some of the talent and knowledge growing all around us.
