7 Fitness Mistakes Everyone Makes That Ruin Your Workout Routine

Every time I go to the gym, I see plenty of people doing exercises wrong. Some people push their leg too far on the glute machine. Others are pushing their ass up a bit when doing leg curls. Others have slumped backs when picking up dumbbells or a barbells for rows or deadlifts.

The list goes on and on, but it shows that fitness world can be a confusing mess of things. You have studies for and against various diets and others revealing all kinds of other nuanced things. This is on top of figuring out what is the best workout routine for your body to take.

While there are plenty of people messing up their form in exercises, what I want to focus on are some of the larger over-arching problems that new and experienced people make. These mistakes are fine as they are part of your journey. However, continuing to make those same mistakes can result in lasting damage that will make the journey all the more difficult.
