Created by purpose pioneer Simon Sinek, the “Golden Circle” method has transformed countless businesses by putting meaning (the “why”), not product (the “what”), at the core of everything an organisation does.

This shift in thinking opens up new horizons and builds deeper relationships with customers, employees and investors alike.

As Simon says, “people don’t buy what you do, they buy why you do it”.

How it works

In this focused workshop, we work with business leaders and teams to help unearth, define or redefine your “why”: the reason your business exists other than to make a profit.

Critically, we then devote significant time to establishing “how” to deliver that purpose. This means focusing on the values, behaviours and capabilities that will help you turn your purpose from theory into reality.

Finally, we focus on the “what”: identifying the strategic opportunities around product development, market positioning, and sales propositions that will deliver your purpose.

Outputs

At the end of the session, you’ll have:

  • A clear sense of what your future could look like
  • A draft manifesto
  • An initial snapshot of your evolving purpose statement
  • An exploration of your current values, to see if they are fit for purpose
  • Prototype purpose-aligned business or product development concepts to investigate

This workshop can also include the option of personal purpose interviews with all attendees, and/or individual values assessments.

Duration

1 day (small organisation) or 2 days (large organisation).
