Our plans for the Bitcoin Cash Hard Fork (BCH)
Bitcoin Cash (BCH) will hard fork on November 15, 2020 around 12:00 pm UTC as part of a scheduled protocol upgrade. Purse will temporarily disable deposits and withdrawals of BCH on November 14, 2020. At this time, we do not have an estimate on when we will re-enable
We encourage users to withdraw BCH before November 14, 2020. In the event that multiple viable chains persist after the fork, Purse may or may not, at our discretion, distribute forked funds. Please refer to Purse’s terms of service https://www.purse.io/terms/ for more information on the treatment of forks.
We do not plan to support Shop and Earn functionality for both chains after the fork. Further, we do not know when support for the dominant chain will be re-enabled.
