Greetings cadets. I come to you with Thanksgiving greetings and a reminder that we have one more day til Black Friday, which kicks off the biggest shopping celebration here in the crypto galaxy.
Our crew has been quiet lately, and for good reason. We’ve been heads-down focused on reliability upgrades to ensure your holiday shopping is turbulence-free.
What’s New:
- A Chrome Extension for shoppers will add items to your Purse cart directly from Amazon! This is seriously a huge time saver when you order often, like we do.
- Support for ‘Deals of the Day’ will help you score an extra 5–10% off Amazon sale prices on Black Friday and beyond. *Lightning Deals are the one exception*
- Updated shipping estimates based on recent order data. Our average discount is holding steady at 18%, with delivery in ~5 days.
- Colorful astronaut banner crafted by our talented design mates. Ooh . . .
Infrastructure:
- Tweaked our system to display more accurate product data and logic to match Amazon offerings.
- Improved item reporting with tracking so staff may notify shoppers when product data has been fixed.
- Implemented a stricter protocol to restrict abusive Earners. This means faster order fulfillment + more orders on the books.
- Added a cluster of admin tools to help our support staff resolve order snags with ease.
Fixed:
- Implemented ‘lazy loading’ of user data to make the site more responsive for everyone.
- Modified ‘contact us’ link so folks with script blockers can email support.
- Removed now-deceased Shapeshift popup. RIP Shifty.
- Smarter address interface to prevent shipping to countries that Amazon does not support.
- Gazillions of random space bugs squashed. (This could easily be its own lengthy post but we’d rather not bore you with those details.)
Upgrade has passed all flight checks and has left the hanger. We’re proud of all the progress made since this time last year, and we hope it shows.
