Push The Pace

Does LeBron leave? If so, where does he go?

Dashiell Nusbaum: No. Of course not, especially not to the Lakers (read: not a good NBA team). The Cavs have the ideal situation for now and for the future. If he had to go anywhere, I think the Spurs or Nuggets make sense (but again, it’s not happening).

Spencer Nusbaum: We’ve had LeCoach. We’ve had LeGm. We’ve had LeEntrepreneur. But what haven’t we had? What do we need? What does LeBron need? LeBron needs a team with enough cap space to sign him and another star (The 2018 Class is loaded). LeBron needs to be with players that can help him win rings when he’s 33 and when he’s 43. LeBron needs a team with assets and stars. LeBron needs an owner that isn’t Dan Gilbert. So I ask you again. What does LeBron need? LeBron James needs: The Process. Stay Woke.

Jeremy Doughty: Yeah. I think it’s definitely going to happen. He has so many ties to many other bigger market cities especially LA. His agency Klutch Sports run by him and Rich Paul is what sells it for me. Paul is the agent for many big name NBA players, including John Wall who was rumored to be on his way to LA. Also LA will have an obscene amount of cap space after trading Mozgov, and if they release Luol Deng. To me this is a no-brainer. LeBron is pushing for a legacy after his playing career ends, and that is much more likely to be fruitful in a city like LA as opposed to Cleveland.
