Mornings are tough. How about some video playlists to ease you in?

Mornings are tough for most of us, especially at the start of the week. Instead of starting your day scrolling through your Facebook feed AKA drowning in sensationalism and clickbait, why not pour yourself a soothing cup of coffee (or tea, if that’s your thing) and watch some fantastic videos instead? Start your day off on the right foot. We’ve combed through Pushwave channels to find five of the best Waves to brighten your day. Treat yourself to a few moments of happiness before braving the day.

#1 Puppies

Who doesn’t love a good dog video? Puppies plus coffee equals a happy morning. This delightful Wave features puppers doing what they do best: jumping and playing and tripping over their too-big paws. There’s even a Men’s Wear Dog documentary mixed in if you’re feeling like learning something while enjoying the romping and rolling pups. And turn up the volume — you won’t regret up.

#2 Music

Bring back the good old days of MTV and VH1 morning music roundups. It’s got punk, indie, folk, and 90’s Japanese piano music all rolled up in one, because why not? If you’re looking for something to jam out to while eating breakfast, this is the one for you. You might even discover your new favorite artist, since this Wave updates almost daily.

Quick note: If metal is more your thing (even in the wee hours of the morning) check out Midwest Metal TV. Just make sure your roommates aren’t late sleepers, this channel is definitely not quiet.

#3 Dial Up Nostalgia

Take a trip down memory lane while you wait for your brain to wake up. From Star Wars Kid to 90’s Sears A/C Commercials, you can’t go wrong with this one. This channel has all your favorites from the early days of the internet. Remember Numa Numa? We do.

#4 Little Hobbies

This is one of my favorite channels — it’s all about hobbies! Did you know that you can dance on a longboard? Have you ever seen someone making fresh ramen noodles? This small collection of little hobbies might even spark a new interest.

#5 Delicious Digital Bytes

DDB has become my new favorite thing on Pushwave. The curator has collected everything from little cooking shows on YouTube (Binging with Babish) to hot wings talk show Hot Ones with Sean Evans. It’s got Food Network giants like Guy Fieri (takin’ it to Flavor Town) and celebs like Matty Matheson teaching you how to make pancakes. Welcome to food heaven with Delicious Digital Bytes.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great morning!
