Hello! We’re Pushwave, a new digital platform that connects creators, curators, and audiences through collected, shared, and viewable channels of video content.

We recently rebranded! We were formally called Channel House but decided on a new brand direction. Nothing but the name and colors have changed (we just love purple), and we’re still dead set on giving you the same incredible tools to build, share, and watch collected video content.

GOOD NEWS: You can sign up to become a Beta user today! We’re not quite ready for Beta testing yet but when we are, you’ll be able to access Pushwave before anyone else.

Since this is our first official post, we wanted to answer a few common questions about our platform:

What is Pushwave?

Pushwave is a content curation platform, meaning you can collect videos from different sources — YouTube, Vimeo, DailyMotion, Twitch — and place them into customizable and editable channels. You can include comments with each video, and build personalized transitions between them.

Remember Adult Swim’s* late night bumps? (If not — or if you’ve forgotten — here’s a reminder: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jrqX25m83Mg) Pushwave’s inlay function lets you create your own bumps by layering gifs, text, and audio into a single 30-second transition between videos.

You can create as many as you want and there’s no limit to how many videos you can add to your channel (Wave).

*We’re not affiliated or associated with Adult Swim in any way, we just really love those bumps.

Why Build Pushwave?

You might be wondering why we created this platform. What was our motivation for creating a curation platform for internet videos? It all started with our desire to organize a series of informative videos and films...

We were looking for a way to build a channel of short films we found across the internet but unless the videos were uploaded onto the same platform, like YouTube, we had no way of doing it. Lists of links can get tedious, especially if you want to add new videos to them, and can get hard to manage. Where would you even store them? How do you watch them?

So we created Pushwave, which lets you collect and stream content from different sources in one seamless application. You aren’t ripping and re-uploading videos so you don’t have to take views away from the original artists or creators. And you’ll never have to worry about DMCA takedowns or copyright infringement.

Pushwave: keeping you out of legal trouble since 2017.

Build Your Audience

Creators can use Pushwave to create branded channels and collaborate with other creators to build Waves to gain followers. Imagine tapping into audiences you could never reach before. Pushwave lets you create collaborative channels, share channels with others, and build your follower base without drawing views away from your content’s original source.

You can embed content from many sources, allowing you to collaborate with friends or other creators.

Since Pushwave is a content embedding platform, you don’t need to worry about posting your videos in multiple places and splitting your followers or reducing direct audience views.

Create Your Channel, Share with Friends

As a viewer, you can create your own channels and watch channels from your favorite creators. You can watch videos and Twitch streams from your favorite gamers, make-up artists, bloggers, cooks, anybody. Share channels with your friends or invite them to add content to your Wave. You can add as many collaborators as you want to build your channels.

When Can I Sign Up?

Right now, we’re undergoing rigorous testing with our Alpha users. We want to check every feature by breaking our prototype application again and again to infuriate our developer. But seriously — we want to make sure your experience with Pushwave is smooth and simple.

We plan on keeping you updated every step of the way until Pushwave is ready for its public launch. Sign up for our Beta user list here (until we’re at full capacity!) or sign up to be an early user. We’ll send you a link the moment Pushwave is ready to launch so you can sign in and start making Waves.

We’re looking forward to hearing from you all, so feel free to drop us a note on Twitter, Instagram, or by email at: info@pushwave.co.

Sincerely,

The Pushwave Team (AKA Kyle, Shae, & Jake)
