Between the devil and the deep blue sea

It was the fact that I had fears.

Fears that could not be compared to the ones I possessed as a little kid alone in the dark, or the ones I have at present.

The linger in my thoughts have created a yearning; one that I reached for so eagerly, one that I wished was within the grasps of my fists-
