Making Up

Fucking
and sucking
and vulgar depravity,
how did you ever think
you’d hide it all from me?

You talk about princesses
and forever,
like it comes so cheap…

You sit with him
and talk to me
while I tell you to be free…

Stained by your choices
and walking the path
picked out by your voices,
telling me I’m the one
that you want…

only to find your way home
in all different clothes.
Using the kids
as a lever,
like you can’t see
I would never…

I can forgive
but not forget it.
You, presuming
I should roll over
and take it…

you’ve clearly forgotten
the stuff I am made of,
if you think for one second
that we can ever make up.

Wrote this some time back now. Never say never, boys and girls…but say what you need to, for as long as you need to ;-)
