When The Sun Rose
In the middle of the night
When I woke you
to say I couldn’t sleep
and we both knew our souls
needed to eat
We talked on the porch
as the sun rose
like we did when we first
discovered our thirst
When I woke you
to say I couldn’t sleep
and we both knew our souls
needed to eat
We talked on the porch
as the sun rose
like we did when we first
discovered our thirst
