This diagram should explain the solution

If we line the two apples perfectly, we can slice it with 100% accuracy into 2 sets of 1/3 and 2/3.

So one person will have 1/3 + 1/3 = 2/3 🍎

The other two people will each have 2/3 🍎

And that’s our answer.
