Diversity and Inclusion Scholarships available at PyBay2019

Diversity. Inclusion. These words are being used everywhere for a very good reason. They carry so much weight it’s impossible to ignore, especially in our very own tech hub, Silicon Valley.

At PyBay, we value the diversity of opinion and have assembled a speaker line-up that includes ~33% from under-represented group and ~29% from other parts of US, Canada and around the world — as far as England, Poland, Israel and Brazil. We are also offering scholarships for students and under-represented groups to attend.

Leading the way to provide these scholarships are

Microsoft is a large a diverse company who offers many different services and software such as Visual Studio, a free, cross-platform, open source code editor. With a little configuration it can also be so much more. Use extensions to extend the editor. Adding support for a wide range of languages including Python. It has Jupyter Cell Debugging that allow you to work with Jupyter notebooks with ease. Live Share Live Share allows for simple and pain free collaboration with teams both local and remote.
