Why become a contributor?
Miner Of Ideas operates Python’s Gurus an independent Medium publication. We are looking for writers to propose up-to-date content focused on Python Programming, Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and so on. If you love to write about these topics, read on!
Reach a broader audience with your articles. Our mission is to be the most popular Python blogs in the world and most-read Medium Python publications.
Here are a few things we do to ensure your articles reach the largest audience possible:
- We recommend our best stories for a Medium “Boost” so they reach the largest possible audience.
- We feature your content on our publication’s pages and social media: Twitter.
- We send newsletters that feature the most valuable stories and writers.
Earn money through the Medium Partner Program. Writers can choose to meter stories that are on Python’s Gurus and earn money through the Medium Partner Program based on engagement from Medium members. “Metering” refers to making a story eligible to earn money behind Medium’s metered paywall.
Writers keep 100% of the earnings they earn through their Medium account as part of the Medium Partner Program. However, the Medium Partner Program is not administered by Python’s Gurus and we do not pay contributors directly for articles they voluntarily contribute.
We strongly suggest that you become, at least, a Medium Partner Program member, because you can instantly earn money and cover your membership fee. Also, if you want to improve your life karma (haha), consider becoming a Friend of Medium.
You will remain the only owner of your work and will be able to delete it at any moment, even after we have published it. The feedback our editors and community provide will appear at the relevant places in your article. You will be able to dismiss or respond to them.
How can you contribute?
To submit your article and join our writing team, please utilize our online form. Kindly be informed that we exclusively operate on Medium. Regrettably, we do not offer proofreading services for articles posted on personal blogs, PDFs, or Google Docs.
We endeavor to promptly respond to authors regarding the acceptance of their submissions. However, due to high submission volumes, we may not be able to respond to everyone. As a general guideline, if you haven’t received a response within a week of submission, it’s likely that we won’t proceed with publishing your article.

The Purge: Why Was I Kicked Out of the Writers List?
We purge any writer who submits or edits inappropriate content, reporting it to Medium. Additionally, every month, we purge writers who do not follow the publication and those that do not support other writers.
