Join our Lisbon chapter in November: events planned by the Q team
November in Lisbon is a very active month — events are everywhere. Besides the Web Summit, a yearly must-visit for digital nomads, Web3 enthusiasts have a lot of dedicated events to visit too: ETHLisbon, FileCoin, Solana Breakpoint, and many more.
We at the Q team decided to organize some networking events to meet you all. Engage with the Q Blockchain, earn Q tokens, and talk with the Q team about:
- the Q-native governance framework
- what constitutes good governance in Web3
- how projects and dApps can benefit from implementing decentralized governance that goes beyond the “code is law” principle

1st of November / Q Blockchain Meetup & Cowork

8th of November / Staking Summit
At the Staking Summit, Martin will talk about governance in permissionless protocols, discussing the following issues:
- checks and balances in the governance process
- independence of stakeholders
- dispute resolution and enforceability
There will also be a breakout session with Florian, which will explore the issue of “social vs. constitutional slashing” in proof-of-stake networks.
