These were very active weeks for the Q community. The team is working hard to provide Web3 projects with efficient governance tools. Shortly, there will be more updates and announcements for our community, so stay tuned!

The First DAO on Q

Last Wednesday, Q community members participated in the event WEB3QUITY organized by Dajana Eder from wom3n.dao — the first DAO to be launched on the Q blockchain.

Nicolas Biagosch, one of the minds behind Q, talked about Q’s emphasis on decentralized governance, how Q enables business models beyond a “code is law” framework and how wom3nDAO benefits from effective governance. In addition, all attendants of the event had the opportunity to mint an NFT on the Q blockchain.

Minting was an exciting experience for the participants of the event. For some, it was their first NFT, while for others, the minting process even was their first interaction with a blockchain wallet at all. We are proud to be enabling this entry into the “rabbit hole” through Q.

Blockchain Week in Warsaw

But WEB3QUITY was not the only event our team participated in last week. On the 1–4th of September ETHWarsaw united blockchain developers in the capital of Poland. For Valerio, who joined the event on behalf of the Q team, it was one of the most authentic crypto events he had attended: “The way people talked about the future of crypto comes very close to what Vitalik had in mind when he was writing the Ethereum whitepaper.”

Overall, ETHWarsaw has been an outstanding event for the Polish crypto ecosystem and for highlighting local talent. From our perspective, the local community in Warsaw is something to be explored deeper. Let us see where it leads us!
