Shauna Allen, has amazingly captured the right blend with The Family Creed series. While we’ve had the opportunity to cover several of Shauna’s novels and series, we especially love how The Family Creed revamps really sets the mood at what you can expect within. I adore Najla! I feel lucky to have found her and working with her (and the entire team) has been a wonderful experience! Always so professional, sweet, and spot-on with helping me to create exactly what I need…Najla takes my loose ideas, sprinkles her magic artist fairy dust on them, and makes them sparkle! A dream come true to work with and I can’t gush enough…seriously.

Not every design process runs smoothly. In other words, the concept we brainstorm with our authors doesn’t always translate the way they may have envisioned. In those cases, we often do and redo a cover until we stumble across the right concept. Bonus points for authors who make these kinds of transitions easy peasy. When you look at the two versions of The Family Creed series, which design speaks most to you? Which do you feel is stronger, or better fits the genre?

Shauna is so fun to work with! She’s super sweet and laid back that the team and I always enjoy putting her graphics together. Working on our recent re-cover was an absolute blast. Especially when there were a lot of hunky men involved. Thanks so much for sticking with us for all these years, Shauna! Always a pleasure.
About the Author
Shauna grew up an only child with two open and loving parents in Central Texas. She’s married to her high school sweetheart and is the mother to three awesome kids, including one she just sent off to the Air Force. She is the award-winning author of the Cupid Chronicles series, the Jack ’Em Up series, and the new Family Creed series. Shauna also writes emotional Contemporary YA novels as SC Montgomery and works as a freelance editor. She loves all things sexy, sassy, and Gerard Butler.
