Alpine Esports Signs QANplatform as its Official Blockchain Partner
We are pleased to announce that Alpine Esports, a Group Renault brand, and inter alia in the Formula 1® Esports Series announced today a strategic partnership with QANplatform as its Official Blockchain Partner.
For Alpine Esports the partnership will aid the team’s fan engagement strategy and allow them to create practical use cases that will support internal operations. For QANplatform the partnership aims to illustrate how blockchain technology can be used to develop applications for businesses beyond payments processing.
QANplatform is the Official Blockchain Partner of Alpine Esports where besides the use cases, QANplatform is taking pride of place on the new F1 Esports team jersey and esport cars next to other partners like
Binance, Kappa, and Shamir.
Today Alpine Esports also revealed their brand new content creation facility, the Alpine Esports Content Room “powered by QAN”, built within the walls of their historical F1 factory at Enstone in the United Kingdom.
It is a defining milestone in QANplatform’s journey that Alpine Esports will be among the first companies to build use cases on the upcoming QAN blockchain platform. Formula 1 has been the technological and engineering sandbox for future commercial cars for decades. However, this landscape changed with the appearance of Esports — one of the emerging sports types — thanks to the Covid-19 pandemic. Formula 1 constructor teams use Esports for simulations, to design the fastest and most efficient vehicles in F1 racing. The data generated in Esports creates a valuable testing environment for business decisions.
With the appropriate infrastructure, engineers can focus on correlating the digital and analog worlds. Blockchain is a digital, decentralized public ledger designed to record every data transaction on its network on a tamper-proof way. Alpine Esports invested in Web3 activations in 2022, playing a pivotal role in their fan engagement strategy with the launch of the Alpine Esports Series which saw them offer $100k worth Alpine Fan Tokens. Bundles of $10,000 worth of Alpine rewards and NFTs were up for grabs during live streams which dramatically increased the viewership of the broadcast.
One of QANplatform’s core product features, the multi-language smart contract capability strongly correlates with this.
