Last week, QARAsoft participated in Soft Wave Conference 2018 at COEX Convention & Exhibition Center. Soft Wave is South Korea’s biggest software oriented exhibition, where top IT companies and startups showcase their products and attend various networking and business-related events.

Feedback

Over the course of three days, we held two booths to introduce our product to all types of audiences. There were students from middle school, high school, and college, as well as employees from small and large scale IT companies. We also met with several individuals who simply had interest in or were already fairly knowledgeable in Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning.

Here are some feedbacks we’ve received at Soft Wave 2018:

Surprised

  • People were surprised that an app like Kosho existed in South Korea, especially when they heard they can view weekly predictions with a recorded success rate of 83.5% for free. While there were some that thought it was a great resource for their investing decisions and downloaded it almost immediately, others were suspicious about our high accuracy rate.

Curious

  • People were curious about the technology behind Kosho. In particular, they wanted to know which engine it used to produce such accurate predictions. So we introduced our core technology, Market Dreamer, and explained how Kosho analyzes 30 years of market history and extracts over 400 million data. While some had their doubts, most people were intrigued and wanted to know more.

Interested

  • People showed interest in using Kosho to help reach their investing goals. While interacting with the customers, we genuinely felt that they wanted to use Kosho to make important investing decisions in the future. Throughout the conference, we patiently walked them through their questions and concerns.

Interview with Seoul Economic Daily

On our second day, Seoul Economic Daily interviewed QARAsoft CEO Chang Hwan (Luke) Byun and Global CEO Katie Bomi Son. They were curious about our company and wanted to know more about our app, Kosho. To see the full interview, please click here.

Downloads

Considering that one of our main goals for this event was to increase downloads and raise brand awareness, we can definitely say that we have achieved that goal. We had an increase in downloads of over 1,000% for the average per day and have been maintaining our number of users since.

Overall Takeaway

All in all, we were extremely happy to see so much interest in our company and product. Many people acknowledged Kosho’s potential and shared insights into what they would want in an app or what could make our app more valuable.

While increasing downloads was an important goal for this event, the variety of feedback we received alone made it a priceless experience. Using the feedback we received, we hope to continue to improve Kosho for our users and expand our research to better satisfy our consumer needs and concerns.
