Taipei, a vibrant and bustling town with a mixture of traditional feel and metropolitan vibes, recently held Innovex 2018 where more than hundreds of global startups gathered to connect and promote their businesses.

Innovex 2018

QARAsoft joined the event with the goal to introduce its newly launched app KOSHO to the Taiwanese market. Over thousands of people participated at the conference, including buyers, press, celebrities, and even government officials.

Pitching

QARAsoft participated in this year’s Innovex Pitching Contest. Of the hundreds of startups that attended the conference, QARAsoft was selected as the only Korean startup to compete in the semifinal round. Katie Bomi Son, our Global CEO, took the mic and shared her vision for the company.

Media Matching

To increase press coverage, QARAsoft attended a media matching event. Each startup was paired with a journalist for two minutes and required to give a quick pitch.

Networking

With hundreds of global startups that attended the conference, QARAsoft participated in several networking events and made connections with venture capitalists, independent investors, journalists, global tech firms, and regular consumers.

Overall Takeaway

Our team was extremely glad to take part in Innovex 2018. We were able to introduce our app to the overseas market and share our vision to many consumers and other businesses. Having experienced first hand what our users feel like when they use our app, we’ve gained critical insights that will not only help us build a better service, but also lend perspective on the general user experience. This was a very productive trip and our next destination is Shanghai. So let’s keep up the good work QARAsoft!!
