As we advance our quest to bring loyalty to the blockchain, we’re gathering more partners along the way. Today, we’re proud to present our newest partner: foodchains. We’re working with the China-based restaurant loyalty rewards program to offer customers a blockchain-based loyalty token.

About foodchains

foodchains’ B2B2C loyalty platform that allows participating restaurants to offer FAN tokens to their customers.

Because these tokens are universal, they’re easily exchangable across restaurants. All a loyal customer has to do is scan a QR code, and voila! Tokens to their wallet. The program is easy to integrate and even easier to use, making it a perfect blockchain solution for both restaurants and diners.

Blockchain brings something fresh into the mix.

Without the power of a full-time corporate marketing team, it can be extremely challenging for small to medium-sized restaurants to implement and upkeep reward systems. But lucky for us (and you) blockchain technology streamlines the process for customers and saves money for restaurants.

Eat out, earn tokens.

We’re getting this partnership off the ground fast with maximum impact. To kick things off, foodchains is rolling out tokenized rewards at Wheelys Cafe, a Y Combinator-backed bicycle cafe chain. And this is big news — Wheelys boasts more than 900 cafes in 73 countries, as well as to more than 60 independent Shanghai-based restaurants.

Coming together to bring you something even better.

There’s a reason they say two heads are better than one. Team qiibee and Team foodchains are combining forces to come up with a brilliant solution.

“Things are moving at a fast and furious pace in the cryptosphere. We believe that our experience in the restaurant sector and qiibee’s already proven expertise and proof-of-concept will allow us to rapidly deploy the platform on a global scale,” said Clement Lee, Co-founder and CEO of foodchains.

And once it’s all up and running, you’ll have one more way to earn tokens for eating.
