Hey qiibeeans, how has your summer been so far? No matter if you’re on a vacation or doing a staycation, we’ve gathered all the achievements from last month in this newsletter and look forward to presenting you a quick recap.
New Channel Partner on Board
With great excitement we can tease a new partnership with a big name marketing company in Switzerland. Said channel partner has a deep-rooted knowledge of shoppers and retail. A leading marketing company with a large customer base from FMCG, telecom as well as Consumer Electronics — just to name a few. The collaboration will enable them to offer blockchain technology to their wide range of customers.

Team expansion
We are utmost proud to say that team qiibee is continuously growing and our latest additions bring awesome experience on board.
In May we onboarded our new Head of Marketing, Florian who works in online marketing since the mid 90ties. He built the international marketing teams of StudiVZ and founded KissMyAds which he successfully sold to Stöer; biggest out of home advertiser in Germany with expansion in digital marketing.
And since the beginning of August, we have a Head of Sales with Francesco. His latest position was Vice President, Head of Brand & Marketing, EMEA at Fossil Group and worked at Mondelez International as well as Barilla before. He has an impressive network of decision-makers in big-name companies.
In September Balaji will join us as a full stack developer and we can’t wait to meet all new team members — hopefully very soon — in person!
Our CEO, Gabriele as speaker at the ‘Finanz & Wirtschaftsforum’
It’s a great honor for us that the organizers of the ‘Finanz & Wirtschaftsforum’ asked our CEO, Gabriele, to hold a keynote speech at their event in September on the topic “Blockchain 2020”. Gabriele will talk about ‘How decentralization will save loyalty’. And he’s in great company: Blockchain Specialist of Siemens Mobility AG, Distributed Ledger Technologies Lead at Alpiq Digital, President of Cardossier, CEO at 3D AG, Managing Director at Gübelin Gem Lab and CEO of Swisscom Blockchain AG will also be attending the conference as speakers.
