Q-Wallet is taking adoption to the next level by further tapping into the mobile recharge market of the customer base of 200 million in the South Eastern Asia, Singapore and Indonesia. By the end of this December, the exclusive offering of 5%-off discount for top up for all mobile operators in Singapore and Indonesia will be available. Q-Wallet will support QLC for payment and the QLC Chain native token QGas being used as the fuel token for generating the digital invoice.

With Q-Wallet, mobile subscribers of Singtel, Starhub, M1, Axis, Indosat, Telkomsel, Tri are able to send mobile recharge from anywhere and enjoy the discount by using QLC for payment and 5 QGas for generating a QLC Chain-issued invoice for each top up order, which are then burnt in the process. The top up record is written onto the blockchain with the associated information including top up value, paid QLC amount, payment time and the transaction hash (txid) of the consumed QGas. The transaction is packed into the block of QLC Chain, traceable and immutable.

It is worth pointing out that for the first time, QLC is introduced to the Q-Wallet top-up gateway that expands its usage scenario to purchasing mobile services. The whole top up operation can be conducted in Q-Wallet with sufficient QLC and QGas funds, which saves the trouble of proceeding to any third-party FIAT payment portal. As a crypto wallet supporting over 1,000 cryptocurrencies and the in-app OTC platform, Q-Wallet is also projected to serve as the portal empowering more cryptocurrencies to gain utilities in the communications service and provide access to exclusive offerings for their holders.

Since the launch of Q-Wallet in late October, we have seen a boost in the number of users from Indonesia, Singapore, Philippines, Russia, Ukraine and Turkey. Aiming to build an QLC Chain-based communications resource marketplace at a global scale, Q-Wallet gladly expands the mobile recharge availability to its loyal early supporters starting with the two most active Asian countries in the crypto space.
