QLC Chain Bi-Weekly Report — #019
GITHUB AS BASECAMP
THE NEXT GENERATION PUBLIC BLOCKCHAIN FOR DECENTRALIZED NETWORK-AS-A-SERVICE (NaaS)
PUBLIC CHAIN DEVELOPMENT — Multidimensional Block Lattice
Our Multidimensional Block Lattice Structure TestNet was launched on October 10th. At the same time, published the source code of the testnet, testnet Wallet and Explorer.
Today we are proudly announcing that the Project management on Github is also open to the public, people can visit our Github to track the development progress.

VPN ROUTER DEVELOPMENT — Monetize Your Bandwidth
VPN Router ROM — The WinQ server is used to work together with WinQ App. Owner can register the VPN server as a digital asset and get rewards from the network sharing on WinQ platform. As WinQ server maintains the resident of the asset, the user-side WinQ App connects to the WinQ server to access VPN asset directly. As a result, both the stability of VPN asset and power saving are improved significantly.
The asuswrt-merlin WinQ Version can be found here:
Third party firmware for Asus routers (newer codebase) - qlcchain/asuswrt-merlin.nggithub.com
Completed by Jan 7
- New ROM version will be released which fixed the bug “disconnect after a long time running”
To be Completed
- Add remote upgrade function
Currently, the VPN Router server is successfully integrated with Merlin, supporting installation on the following routers. If you are the owners of the following router from ASUS, please contact us via firstname.lastname@example.org or message us on Telegram
- ASUS RT-AC66U_B1
- ASUS RT-AC68U
- ASUS RT-AC86U
Updates on PPR & PPM
- Implemented offline message notification
- Enhance P2P Node online process and file transmission mechanism
- Optimize PPR local database
- Optimize PPR and PPM connection interface
- Add auto-testing script to increase the testing coverage

VPN Router model survey
During Christmas, we were asking what models of the router that the community members are using, to help our developers optimize the developing schedule. When completed the survey, we will offer $20 USD worth coupon for purchasing the router.
The survey is still ongoing until the end of January.
To continue the joy of the festival time, we prepared a quiz to reward three of our fastest and most knowledgeable community members with a total prize pool of 10,000 QLC.
We would like to take this opportunity and thank everyone who participated.
About QLC Chain
QLC Chain is the next generation public Blockchain for decentralized Network-as-a-Service(NaaS). The QLC Chain and supporting ecosystem will enable any individual, business or organization to leverage their network resources to instantly become a service provider or network operator. The mission is to bring people online through a simpler, more pleasant, and more secure way with full transparency.
It deploys a multidimensional Block Lattice architecture and uses virtual machines (VM) to manage and support integrated Smart Contract functionality. Additionally, QLC Chain utilizes dual consensus: Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS) and Shannon Consensus, which is a novel consensus developed by the QLC Chain team. Through the use of this dual consensus protocol and multidimensional Block Lattice architecture, QLC Chain is able to perform a high number of transactions per second (TPS), provide massive scalability and an inherently decentralized environment for NaaS related applications (dApp).
