2. Joint workshop on SMS settlement with Hong Kong leading carriers
On November 18th, a fruitful SMS settlement solution workshop was jointly hosted by the QLC Chain team and representatives from several Hong Kong’s leading carriers. Future close cooperation is under discussion.
3. QLC team recent activities
Allen Li, the founder of QLC Chain was invited to the Industry Frontiers (Shenzhen) Roundtable Forum on the theme of “Convergence and fusion of the on-chain innovations, blockchain adopted enterprises in the face of opportunities and challenges” to share about QLC Chain Embracing the 5G Era.
Allen shared the public chain development progress with the representatives and chiefs from China’s Central Bank Blockchain Trade Finance Platform and industry unicorns such as Tencent and WeBank that are pushing towards the global blockchain dominance.
Allen introduced the progress of the public chain development from 3 dimensions:
1. How QLC Chain improves the TCP/IP protocol, privacy and security of the SMS and SMTP protocols with their application in the QLC Chain-empowered counter telecom fraud platform.
2. A shared ownership of the network infrastructure for IoT/MVNO/5G.
3. The integration of blockchain-based billing with the 5G core, the QLC Chain-based solution to SIM Swapping fraud and 2FA authentication.

4. Confidant update — New encryption method added in
Password encryption was added to the latest update of Confidant with the improved security level of the invitation email sent to non-Confidant users.
When an email is sent using the extra layer of password encryption, the recipient can only use access and read the email content with Confidant.
5. Q-Wallet mobile plan top-up country coverage expands to Singapore and Indonesia
Q-Wallet will add Singapore and Indonesia to its country coverage and support the mobile top-up discount for the local mobile numbers. Q-Wallet users from the 2 countries will soon enjoy the exclusive offering with QGas, OKB and MX token as the discount coupon.
6. QLC staking amount hit a new all time high- 78,279,150.00 QLC
