QLC Chain Delivers Keynote at “The 6th China Enterprise Mobile Informationization Industry Applications Conference”
On October 19th, Montnets Group and China Mobile co-hosted The 6th China Enterprise Mobile Information Industry Applications Conference (CMIA)in Shenzhen, China.

The theme of this conference was the “Gathering and Empowering, Created the Future.” The aim of this conference is to provide a professional platform for communication and cooperation among the practitioners in the industry and educate consumers on the transformation into data analytics, as well as to understand the innovative integration of rich media applications in business operations and the emerging Blockchain technology.
Allen Li, Chief Architect of QLC Chain was invited to deliver the keynote speech titled “The Trusted Communications Network on the Blockchain.” QLC Chain has been researching and building an enterprise-level SMS clearing platform using Blockchain technology. The SMS business has manifested a new growth in 2018, brought by the popularity of login and identity authentication services. In the first half of 2018, the national SMS has experienced a 11.5% growth compared to last year, bringing a revenue of 25.6 billion RMB.
Allen’s keynote speech revolves around trusted communication network technology, which aims to extend the trusted state from the hardware to the network. On the basis of the traditional identity-based network authentication and access control technology, the platform-based identity verification and integrity verification are added, which has its unique advantages. The emergence of trusted network technology has changed the traditional passive defense mode.
Allen stated that Blockchain technology is the perfect solution for current communication network drawbacks and should be adopted as the future communication protocol. Currently, there are many issues with the network protocols such as, DDoS, DNS, BGP, OSPF, roaming fraud and SMS fraud because of flaws in the original network protocol design such as lacking verification in Address Resolution Protocol, the potential of IP, MAC information leakage, and a waste of bandwidth and CPU.
Solving these problems using blockchain technology can be conducted in collective efforts, including decentralized registration, which can make telecom resources allocation more transparent; introducing access cost, to prevent from DDoS attack; and adopting distributed ledger, to unify network identity.
During his keynote speech, Allen introduced an enhanced telecommunication protocol which contains three key features:
1. Decentralized IPV6: Addressing and identity
2. Kerberos and smart contract: An authentication protocol based on blockchain network
3. Distributed BSS/OSS: To support tokenization of telecom resources
With the enhanced telecommunication protocol, telecom companies can prevent the loss of up to 10 Billion RMB from SMS billing fraud and increase the security level for network access. Moreover, provide a unified identity solution for network users which is easier to manage.
Taking the QLC Chain multi-dimensional Block Lattice explorer as an example, it will serve as a trusted SMS channel trading platform based on the blockchain. The data that can be analyzed by the explorer will include:
1, SMS channel resource SLA, including the amount of transmission, arrival rate, data confirmation
2. SMS content confirmation
3. SMS clearance
QLC Chain will work to make QLC token a future network service token. Starting from existing corporate customers, to gradually promote the application and popularization of blockchains in the network industry. It is predicted that in the next 5 to 10 years, 80% of the total network services will be moved to the blockchain technology, and the operating system of QLC Chain will become the supporting platform.
