Welcoming José Miguel Montañana — QLC Chain’s new Computing Architecture Engineer
After a number of team related announcements in the past week, we have another valuable addition. We are very pleased to welcome Jose Miguel to the team, who is taking on the role of QLC Chain’s Computing Architecture Engineer. We are excited to benefit from Jose’s wealth of international experience and knowledge which will be utilized in QLC Chain DeFi simulation.
Jose has earned a MSc in Physics (1997), MSc in Electronic Engineering (2002) from the Universitat de València (UV) and Ph.D. degree in Computer Science (2008) from the Universitat Politécnica deValència (UPV), and was awarded with the European PhD mention and with Summa cum laude.
He was a visiting professor at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM), as well as a researcher at the National Institute of Informatics (NII) in Japan and the University of York in UK and is currently based at the supercomputer center HLRS in Germany, where he also works as a QLC Chain representative.
During his career, Jose has published a number of scientific papers and books and is a regular presenter at conferences. He has also participated in the organizing committees of IEEE Intl Workshop on High-Performance Networks (HiPINEB).
