Final Design

Hi everyone.

We are back with exciting news. Let us introduce you for the very first time to the final design of the Qleek player.

Based on your votes, our work with Bolt and our own idea of what Qleek should embody, we are very happy to show you what your Qleek will look like when you receive it. This design is what we will send to our contract manufacturers for production.

It is both beautiful and functional. Its simplicity makes playing your Qleeks as easy as fitting a square peg in a square hole. It has been thoughtfully designed so that the ritual of playing your music is a pleasing tactile and visual experience.

The Qleek player features 5 buttons that light up when touched. These will help you navigate through your content and control the playback without taking too much of your attention and time. The white hexagon also lights up when a Qleek is played. This subtle feedback will tell you that your content is prepared for playback.

The next step is Production. We are discussing with wood suppliers and contract manufacturers to start the production process of the first 500 units of Qleek. These will go straight to our Indiegogo Backers.

The sun is finally back to Boston, but we are still actively working on the electronics and software development. The next update will tell you more about it and will show you all the progress we have made so far.
