Simplifying, optimizing, and building new foundations.

Welcome back to the monthly Quae Developer Update. We’re excited to discuss some new ways of interacting with Quae, to bring democracy centerfold.

One Feed for All

Introducing a new way of visualizing all of the posts made to the communities you are a part of. Instead of having individualized feeds for each group, you can now see all posts that are important to you on the initial Quae page. If you’d still like to just see one community’s feed, you can still do so by clicking on that group’s card on the left side of the screen.

We believe this new experience will make it much more engaging to use our platform because now all you need to do is sit back, relax, and scroll away. No more having to switch between a bunch of tabs to get all of your voting done in the day.

Creating Posts

We’ve made some slight changes to the post-creation process, but we believe it will be even more accessible and understandable.

Rather than switch between groups and visualize your drafts for them individually, you get to see all of your drafts in one list. Soon, drafts will be limited to 5 per account, which can be upgraded to infinite drafts soon via the premium membership.

In each post, you can select which community you’d like to post it to. By default, it will always be posted to the Global Community.

Supporters

As we open Quae up to national and city-level politics, we wanted to give rising political personalities the opportunity to gain a following as they pursue democratic change.

We’re now introducing the supporter feature to determine which users have a verifiable following on their profiles.

We hope our platform may foster a new age, of political representatives. A politician's career can start on Quae as they develop their constituency, and grow into a rising star of democracy.

Just so everyone knows, we did a lot of work on our development environment. While this doesn’t show a lot for the end-user, we’ll be able to build out new features much more efficiently in the future.

We hope you’re excited about everything new Quae has to offer! As, always, we love and appreciate every one of our members for helping us fight to preserve democracy for years to come.
