Truly sustainable development is becoming a mainstream priority for a growing number of markets and for an ever extending list of major companies.
Sustainable Development Goals or (SDGs) were adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015. These goals provide a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet.
QualiCal believes in and has committed to contributing to several of the SDGs in a direct manner.

As far as lime technological solutions, QualiCal #neverstopINNOVATING R&D is developing NANO lime & CO2 reactor, contributing to create a new customized, flexible and decentralized lime production model aside the traditional lime production business model.
NATURAL CARBON OFFSET SOLUTIONS by Certified Carbon Credits
QualiCal is also supporting the invest in nature through the purchase of NCS-generated carbon credits (or “offsets”) as part of the effort towards ZERO CARBON LIME

Alternative Fuels
For one-third of all emissions that originate from energy production, the lime industry can apply usual abatement measures like fuel switch and energy efficiency. One option to reduce emissions from energy production is the switch to fuels with reduced carbon intensity, such as biomass.
