Celebrating Success: JSW BPSL’s 600TPD Limekiln and 20TPH Lime Grinding Plant Achieve Final Acceptance

QualiCal proudly announces the issuance of the Final Acceptance Certificate for the 600TPD limekiln and 20TPH lime grinding plant at JSW BPSL’s Jharsuguda plant. This milestone reflects our enduring partnership with JSW Steel, a leader in India’s steel sector and a rapidly expanding global presence.

Since our collaboration began in 2007, QualiCal has been a trusted technology supplier to JSW BPSL. Our latest project, initiated in October 2016 and revived in April 2023, demonstrates our commitment to excellence and timely delivery.

Both the limekiln and grinding plant were commissioned successfully in December 2023 and June 2023, respectively, achieving not only the targeted production capacity but also surpassing the performance guarantee parameters.

The successful operations and performance of these installations confirm QualiCal’s expertise and the robustness of our technologies in supporting the steel industry’s growth and efficiency. We extend our gratitude to JSW BPSL Steel Ltd for their cooperation throughout this project, illustrating the strength of our partnership and shared commitment to excellence.

Highlights of Achievements

This project not only stands as a testament to QualiCal’s capabilities but also enhances the operational efficiencies of JSW BPSL, setting new benchmarks in the lime industry.

• Production: 600TPD.
• Loss on Ignition (LOI): Achieved better than than guaranteed 3,5% Performances.
• Specific Heat Consumption: Outperformed expectations at 810 KCal/Kg.
• Electric Power Consumption: Met the performance guarantee of 27Kwh per ton of lime.
• Reactivity: Exceeded the specification with 370ml of 4N HCl in 5 minutes.
