The way we produce #lime is changing. But the fourth industrial revolution is not just about how new lime production technologies, such as the use of alternative fuels or CO2 capture, will benefit businesses and consumers. It is also about how the lime industry can lead to a cleaner, more sustainable world.

“It is foolish to deny that the planet is rapidly approaching the day when the consequences of climate change will be inevitable. The question now facing many business leaders is whether — and how — we can produce lime while mitigating our impact on the natural world, while building value for our customers.” — Carlo Cella - QualiCal CEO

is the next generation lime production experience, based on local low financial investments, involving local manpower, reducing raw material and go-to-market transportation cost, minimizing traffic and pollution.

More in general NANO lime production is oriented to follows several Target as indicated by the Global Goals Agenda 2030

DECENT WORK AND ECONOMIC GROWTH — Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all. (Global Goal 8)

Economic growth should be a positive force for the whole planet. This is why we must make sure that financial progress creates decent and fulfilling jobs while not harming the environment. We must protect labour rights and once and for all put a stop to modern slavery and child labour. If we promote job creation with expanded access to banking and financial services, we can make sure that everybody gets the benefits of entrepreneurship and innovation.

  • PROMOTE POLICIES TO SUPPORT JOB CREATION AND GROWING ENTERPRISES — Promote development-oriented policies that support productive activities, decent job creation, entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation, and encourage the formalization and growth of micro-, small- and medium-sized enterprises, including through access to financial services.communities. (8.3)
  • DIVERSIFY, INNOVATE AND UPGRADE FOR ECONOMIC PRODUCTIVITY — Achieve higher levels of economic productivity through diversification, technological upgrading and innovation, including through a focus on high-value added and labour-intensive sectors. (8.2)
  • SUSTAINABLE ECONOMIC GROWTH — Sustain per capita economic growth in accordance with national circumstances and, in particular, at least 7 per cent gross domestic product growth per annum in the least developed countries. (8.1)
  • IMPROVE RESOURCE EFFICIENCY IN CONSUMPTION AND PRODUCTION — Improve progressively, through 2030, global resource efficiency in consumption and production and endeavor to decouple economic growth from environmental degradation, in accordance with the 10‑Year Framework of Programmes on Sustainable Consumption and Production, with developed countries taking the lead. (8.4)

BUILD RESILIENT INFRASTRUCTURES, PROMOTE INCLUSIVE AND SUSTAINABLE INDUSTRIALIZATION AND FOSTER INNOVATION (Global Goal 9)

A functioning and resilient infrastructure is the foundation of every successful community. To meet future challenges, our industries and infrastructure must be upgraded. For this, we need to promote innovative sustainable technologies and ensure equal and universal access to information and financial markets. This will bring prosperity, create jobs and make sure that we build stable and prosperous societies across the globe.

  • DEVELOP SUSTAINABLE, RESILIENT AND INCLUSIVE INFRASTRUCTURES -Develop quality, reliable, sustainable and resilient infrastructure, including regional and transborder infrastructure, to support economic development and human well-being, with a focus on affordable and equitable access for all.
  • PROMOTE INCLUSIVE AND SUSTAINABLE INDUSTRIALIZATION -Promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization and, by 2030, significantly raise industry’s share of employment and gross domestic product, in line with national circumstances, and double its share in least developed countries.
  • INCREASE ACCESS TO FINANCIAL SERVICES AND MARKETS — Increase the access of small-scale industrial and other enterprises, in particular in developing countries, to financial services, including affordable credit, and their integration into value chains and markets.

ENSURE SUSTAINABLE CONSUMPTION AND PRODUCTION PATTERNS (Global Goal 12)

Our planet has provided us with an abundance of natural resources. But we have not utilized them responsibly and currently consume far beyond what our planet can provide. We must learn how to use and produce in sustainable ways that will reverse the harm that we have inflicted on the planet.

  • SUPPORT DEVELOPING COUNTRIES’ SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNOLOGICAL CAPACITY FOR SUSTAINABLE CONSUMPTION AND PRODUCTION — Supporting developing countries to strengthen their scientific and technological capacity to move towards more sustainable patterns of consumption and production. (SGDs 12.A)
  • RESPONSIBLE MANAGEMENT OF CHEMICALS AND WASTE — By 2020, achieve the environmentally sound management of chemicals and all wastes throughout their life cycle, in accordance with agreed international frameworks, and significantly reduce their release to air, water and soil in order to minimize their adverse impacts on human health and the environment. (12.4)
