Crystal Gateway Marriott, Arlington, VA — June 10–12
NLA 2019 Annual Conference is over
After safely returning home we’d like to thank all the presenters, exhibitors and participants for their contribution to a successful NLA 2019
A year that saw the active participation of QualiCal as MEMBER ASSOCIATE.
The array of actors in the lime world was varied and complete: the most important producers of Lime in the US, service providers supporting the daily operation & trouble shooting and, of course, the better representation of technology suppliers worldwide.
As every year the event developed along 3 days of readings mainly focused on:
• Safety & sustainability
• Market & political outlook
• Technological outlook
In general we can say that in spite of a market that has registered a drop in sales compared to the previous one, the producers know that new challenges will await them in order to diversify their production, improve quality and, increasingly, have a watchful eye to technological developments that are aimed at greater efficiency and versatility.
In this sense, QualiCal is therefore absolutely confident of being able to assert its innovative and avant-garde ideas both in terms of calcination plants (Synthesis® PFR Lime Kiln) and hydration systems (QualiCUBE® Modular Plant) supported by an IIOT platform that has no equal in the world of lime … and not only.. (MOSAICO®)
I conclude therefore that for QualiCal, and myself personally, is always nice to meet US Lime Producers and openly discuss about their expectation, target & needs.
This year it has also been a good opportunity for me to meet Jakub Kolar, CEO of QualiPOOL partner MZP Kin Services with whom we are to strengthen the presence of QualiCal in the US, guaranteeing rapid mechanical interventions and fast supply of spare parts from the US warehouse.
Last but not least, a special thanks to Deborah Maffet and all the NLA Team for having meticulously organized this important event.
See you all in 2020 in the beautiful location of Napa Valley!
