How does a common creative writing start?
Six ways to get you started writing.
My three favorite ways to start:
1. Straight to the point
At the beginning, point out the theme of this article or get to the heart of the content.
For example: Now more and more people don’t know how to arrange their life because their mobile phones take up too much time, and waste a lot of time, so the pattern of time is the most important.
2. Begin with a Contrastive Approach
By contrast, the synapse article should focus on the book.
For example: Before I joined the writing training camp, many times I would change jobs and fields within three years, very frequently. After joining the annual training camp, I clarified my position and started a very persistent and lifelong writing career, and because of my changes, I influenced eleven partners to join the study.
3. Start with a question
Ask a question at the beginning, arouse the reader’s curiosity and thinking, and then answer the question in the article.
For example: There is a question on Quora: “When do you feel that you must get a divorce, without hesitation?” Among them, a netizen who has a lot of likes answered this way.
There are also some common methods that I know in writing skills or reading, but haven’t used well yet, here are the starting methods I need to improve:
1. Set up suspense
Let readers complete the article, you can set suspense at the beginning, and announce the suspense in the body or at the end.
2. start a story
Humans have an innate love of listening to stories. If you’re a good storyteller, start with a story. A well-written story will naturally attract readers to continue reading.
3. Draw the scene
Depicting a scene can make the reader feel immersed and resonate with the reader. Describing scenes can also make readers feel like they are there, as if they are at the scene where the story takes place.
4. Quotes
Quoting famous quotes can add persuasive power and is a common way to begin your writing.
5. Start with a philosophical sentence
It’s almost like a famous quote, but these sentences aren’t written by famous people, they’ve been written by you. Philosophical sentences can deeply grab the reader’s attention and are widely circulated.
