Are Small Businesses Doomed in Modern Day Capitalism?

There is a vicious cycle happening in the US economy. A large number of small businesses are not prospering in this economic environment.

Some blame the government. Others blame large corporations. Who or what is really at fault? In this post, I will give you a potential culprit and a potential solution. I’d like to ask you to look over this information with an open mind.

Modern Day Capitalism

Something is wrong in the U.S. economy. It’s certainly not all doom and gloom, but there are problems for small businesses.

Prices go up, this hurts the worker. They can barely afford housing, food, shelter and entertainment and leisure is less and less.

Most small businesses operate on very small margins. I know, I did some work for several recently.

They can hardly afford to pay workers a living wage. Looking deeper, they can also barely afford to buy the materials from suppliers. Any long-term drought and many of these small businesses would cease to exist, along with the jobs they offer.

One solution that larger companies do is that they expand. They grow rapidly and take on more market…
