Quantum London update — October
A number of updates and events
Welcome to the newsletter. It’s been a while and lots has been happening.
AI & Quantum Tech
First off, a fantastic event coming up in 10 days. Join Jack Hidary in real life or virtually on 26th October in Oxford to learn “What is AQ and why it will impact your world”. RSVP directly on Eventbrite here.
By joining you’ll learn from Jack Hidary, a recognized authority on the convergence of AI and QT, a union called ‘AQ’. He is author of the well-regarded textbook (Quantum Computing — An Applied Approach), and CEO of SandboxAQ, a firm he founded to apply AQ to solve problems enterprises are facing.
Jack will explore the consequences resulting from AQ. Over the next few years, we will start to see entire industries transformed by the confluence of AI and QT technologies delivering “access to tools with unexpected potential”, as the Nobel Prize committee put it.
Remember, if you’ve got colleagues who want to understand more from a business (rather than technical) point of view then this simple primer can help. It’s cheap (or free on Kindle Unlimited) on Amazon as an eBook (UK readers here or on Amazon.com) and free on Medium via this link.
The City Quantum Summit
This excellent event took place earlier this week, bringing together experts from across the globe at London’s Mansion House to discuss the business impact of quantum computing and other quantum technologies. Click here for some of the key points.
